Open Hearted Cutting Chamber: 18″ x 36″ opening. The unique, patent pending, “OPEN-HEARTED” design construction incorporates a hinged front door that quickly swings out of the way for internal cutting chamber access making it surprisingly easy for material changes, color changes, or general maintenance. One bed knife is located in the cutting chamber and one is located in the pivoting front door, all are easily accessible and offer a “V” design opposite that of the rotor to initiate a double scissor cut. The super tangential cutting chamber, with 2 bedknives provides a large belly in the cutting chamber to ensure optimal production results. Available as is an optional fully hardened cutting chamber for use with tough, engineered materials.
